we get letters
Dear Dr. Dalton,
I wanted to wrtie you a letter to show my apprecation for the education I received from my teachers. Now that I am a junior in college, I am really seeing the difference between the education that Temple equpped me with and the average education of my college fellow students. When I was going to TBS, I thougth that the classes were challenging and that the teachers tended to overload me with homework. Now, I realize that was "tough love" meant to prepare me for college. Because I am not struggling with the core essentials of education, I can focus on the specialized education of college. Most people I meet at college are not learning the new things that college teaches because they are trying to relearn everything that they should have learned. I feel like most are missing what college has to offer because of this very problem. That is why I am SO THANKFUL that Temple has the goal of academic excellence. I appreciate all of the extra training that the various teachers have put in, just to be better at what they do. I know that technically this is unnecessary for teaching high school, but I am really seeing the difference it makes. The benefits that Temple gave me above all the other educations I see around me are: critical thinking skills, paper-writing skills, and a seriousness toward education. Add those three strengths to the fact that you aim to cultivate a love for God in your students, and I would argue with anyone that Temple is one of the top high schools In America
Hello, Mrs. Pataky and Dr. Dalton,
We thought you would like to know that Sander (Class of 2013) took the CLEP test for English Literature and has gotten credit for TWO classes. The person administering the test said that he scored the highest she had ever seen for any subject. He also took the Government test, but unfortunately missed passing it by three points. He plans to retake it after the required six months have passed.
Just want to pass that news along to encourage other students to take adnvantage of the CLEP tests and to thank you all once again.
Many blessings for this new school year.
Diana Smith, school parent

Hello Dr. Dalton!
I just wanted you to know that I passed the English Composition test (CLEP)... I missed the History test by three points. Thank you so much for pushing me in my classes! It was definitely worth it.
